"It's NORE NORE"

I was pretty excited to see NORE. Although I don't consider him a serious lyricist, For entertainment purposes, I wanted to see what his show was about. The Whiteroom is a small dive with aspirations of becoming a hip downtown club. It has a stage perfect for performances of this size - short announced and unpublicized.
Be that as it may, I still expected WAY more from his performance. There was no set showtime, so the fact that he hit the stage around 2am could be dismissed, but it show was 15 minutes...and I'm being generous with that.
The crowd was small, so I'm not sure if this was the reason for short show, but FIFTEEN minutes?! I was not pleased. In that 15 minutes he certainly didn't BANG out the show. It was just OKAY. He jumped off the stage to perform in the crowd for the "finale". But the entire performance still gets a womp womp from me.
I suppose this wasn't a REAL show, and that contributed to the lack of enthusiam, but I feel like regardless of the set, stage, or size of crowd - as an artist you should ALWAYs bring your A game. You never know how you're going to gain or lose as a fan.
I'll continue to support his music...I wasn't THAT turned off, but I'll definitely be side-eying him for a while.
