So here we are at the beginning of a new year, a new decade, a new beginning. I started this blog a year ago, and it seems like two weeks at best! I began this blog because for 2009, I resolved to do more things that make ME happy. Since music makes me happy, I wanted to share that with everyone.
I had one goal in mind when I first started MIMH, and that was to share live music I experienced - big budget world tours to intimate single mic performances. I saw so many performances, which weren't all featured here. I was without a camera for a few months, and in that time I saw Laura Izbor, Mos Def, Dwele, and N'Dambi - all amazing artists in their own right. Resolving to do more things that make me happy turned out to be one of the most freeing decisions I have ever made.
2009 turned out being one of the best years of my life. I got a new puppy, I met incredible people, traveled to beautiful places, got engaged to the love of my life, and experienced new music and rediscovered old tunes throughout all of it.
I haven't made any resolutions for 2010. I already have so much to look forward to, the only thing left to do is enjoy every single minute of it!
I've changed the look of MIMH drastically since the first post. I opened a twitter account for the site. FOLLOW ME HERE. I also plan to add a few more elements to make the site more comprehensive, so STAY TUNED...2010 is going to be the best one yet!!!
