I've heard Ruby's music before, but never live. She has a voice that kinda sneaks up on you. Your listening like "oh that's nice", and then she hits these notes out of the blue that can catch you off guard.I was surprised to hear she was going to be performing at Blue Martini (Brickell) on a Tuesday night. It just seemed like a very unlikely mix (which it was!) I guess she's trying to recession-proof her life too! It was a very intimate performance as we were the only table actually watching/listening to her.
